Hi, I'm Quyen Ngo. A bit about me:
I believe in revolution. I am a translator -- of words, ideas, and emotions. I laugh extremely loudly. I am both polished and chaotic -- at once put together and all over the place. I've been described as goofy and groovy. I come from a food family, and grew up in San Jose, CA. Here's a virtual food tour I curated of Vietnamese food in San Jose. I went to Brown University and worked in radio while in Providence, RI. I djed slow jams and soul and funk music and I still dream about it all the time. As a trainer/facilitator with a little luck and a lot of love, I've worked with people from all over the world from different walks of life -- from pediatric oncologists in Egypt, to migrant workers in Asia. I've had the honor of narrating works by many brilliant Vietnamese authors, and was nominated for the Audie award for Audiobook of the Year for my narration of The Mountains Sing by Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai.
